Makassar, 10 Juni 2025 \u2013 Politeknik Pariwisata (Poltekpar) Makassar menggelar acara syukuran atas pencapaian predikat Unggul untuk akreditasi institusi perguruan tinggi dari Badan Akreditasi Nasional Perguruan Tinggi (BAN-PT), bertempat di Bugis Restoran kampus Poltekpar Makassar, yang dihadiri oleh seluruh civitas akademika, dosen, tenaga kependidikan, serta tamu undangan.<\/p>\n
Acara ini diselenggarakan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur dan refleksi atas perjalanan panjang Poltekpar Makassar dalam menjaga dan meningkatkan mutu pendidikan vokasi di bidang pariwisata. Dalam sambutannya, Direktur Poltekpar Makassar, Bapak Harry Rachmat Widjaja, menyampaikan kilas balik perjalanan institusi sejak awal pendiriannya hingga kini, menjelang Dies Natalis Poltekpar Makassar yang ke-34 pada 18 September mendatang.<\/p>\n
Beliau menegaskan bahwa pencapaian Akreditasi Unggul bukanlah hal yang mudah. Diperlukan kerja keras, sinergi, dan konsistensi seluruh elemen kampus untuk memenuhi berbagai standar mutu yang ditetapkan. \u201cIni adalah pencapaian yang luar biasa, dan juga tanggung jawab besar untuk mempertahankannya,\u201d ujar Direktur.<\/p>\n
Lebih lanjut, beliau menyebutkan bahwa sebelumnya seluruh Prodi yang ada di Poltekpar Makassar telah terakreditasi Unggul. Hal ini menunjukkan komitmen Poltekpar Makassar dalam menghadirkan pendidikan vokasi yang berkualitas.<\/p>\n
Dalam arahannya, Direktur juga menekankan beberapa fokus strategis yang harus menjadi perhatian yang juga menjadi catatan dari asesor lapangan BAN-PT seperti dorongan kepada mahasiswa untuk aktif mengikuti kompetisi internasional guna meningkatkan daya saing dan eksistensi kampus di kancah global. Selain itu sebagai institusi unggul Poltekpar Makassar kedepannya diharapkan menyelenggarakan pendidikan kelas internasional dengan mahasiswa dari berbagai negara.<\/p>\n
Beliau juga menyampaikan apresiasi dan ucapan terima kasih kepada para pimpinan terdahulu yang telah meletakkan fondasi kuat bagi institusi ini. \u201cApa yang kita raih hari ini adalah hasil dari estafet perjuangan panjang yang tidak bisa dilepaskan dari kontribusi para pemimpin sebelumnya,\u201d ungkapnya.<\/p>\n
Sebagai simbol rasa syukur dan penghormatan, acara ditutup dengan pemotongan tumpeng yang dilakukan secara bersama oleh Direktur Poltekpar Makassar, Bapak Harry Rachmat Widjaja, dan mantan Direktur Poltekpar Makassar, diiringi suasana kekeluargaan dan kebersamaan seluruh civitas akademika.<\/p>\n
Proses asesmen lapangan akreditasi institusi perguruan tinggi oleh tim asesor dari BAN-PT dilaksanakan pada 23 Mei 2025 lalu. Adapun asesor yang hadir adalah Prof Diena Mutiara Lemy, Prof Aceng Gama dan Fetty Asmaniaty.<\/p>\n
Pencapaian Akreditasi Unggul ini menjadi momentum penting untuk terus memperkuat komitmen Poltekpar Makassar dalam mencetak lulusan yang unggul, adaptif, dan siap bersaing di industri pariwisata nasional maupun internasional.<\/p>\n

POLTEKPAR MAKASSAR ATTAINS INTITUTIONAL ACCREDITATION WITH \u201cEXCELLENT\u201d PREDICATE FROM BAN-PT<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Makassar, 10th<\/sup> June 2025 \u2013 Politeknik Pariwisata (Poltekpar) Makassar held a celebratory gathering to commemorate its attainment of an \u201cExcellent\u201d predicate in its institutional accreditation by the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT). The event took place at the Bugis Restaurant at Poltekpar Makassar campus and was attended by the entire academic community, including lecturers, administrative staff, and invited guests.<\/p>\n This event was organised as an expression of gratitude and a moment of reflection on Poltekpar Makassar\u2019s longstanding journey in maintaining and enhancing the quality of vocational education in the field of tourism. In his remarks, the Director of Poltekpar Makassar, Dr. Harry Rachmat Widjaja, provided a retrospective overview of the institution\u2019s development since its inception, in the lead-up to the 34th anniversary of Poltekpar Makassar on 18th<\/sup> September.<\/p>\n He emphasised that achieving the \u2018Excellent\u2019 accreditation status was no easy feat. It required hard work, synergy, and consistency from all components of the campus community to meet the quality standards set forth. \u201cThis is an extraordinary achievement, and it also represents a significant responsibility to maintain,\u201d stated the Director.<\/p>\n Furthermore, he noted that all academic programmes at Poltekpar Makassar had previously obtained the \u2018Excellent\u2019 accreditation status. This reflects the institution\u2019s strong commitment to delivering high-quality vocational education.<\/p>\n In his address, the Director also highlighted several strategic priorities that must remain a focus, including points raised by the BAN-PT field assessors. One of these was the encouragement of students to actively participate in international competitions, thereby enhancing the institution\u2019s global visibility and competitiveness. As an \u2018Excellent\u2019 institution, Poltekpar Makassar is also expected to offer internationally oriented education, attracting students from various countries.<\/p>\n Mr Widjaja also expressed his appreciation and gratitude to previous institutional leaders who laid the foundation for Poltekpar Makassar\u2019s growth. \u201cWhat we have achieved today is the result of a long relay of dedication, in which the contributions of former leaders have played an indispensable role,\u201d he remarked.<\/p>\n As a symbol of gratitude and respect, the event concluded with a ceremonial cutting of the traditional tumpeng<\/em> (a yellow cone-shaped rice dish), jointly carried out by Dr. Harry Rachmat Widjaja and a former Director of Poltekpar Makassar, in an atmosphere of collegiality and togetherness among the academic community.<\/p>\n The institutional accreditation field assessment by BAN-PT assessors took place on 23rd<\/sup> May 2025. The assessors present were Professor Diena Mutiara Lemy, Professor Aceng Gama, and Fetty Asmaniaty.<\/p>\n This achievement of the \u201cExcellent\u201d accreditation serves as a significant milestone, reinforcing Poltekpar Makassar\u2019s commitment to producing graduates who are outstanding, adaptable, and well-prepared to compete in both the national and international tourism industries.
