5G Peak Troughput Test in Indonesia
In 2017, XL (March) and Telkomsel (May) started the 5G trial in Indonesia.
2018
5G Showcase in Asian Games
Starting with Telkomsel conducting 5G trials during the Asian Games XVIII , followed by XL with 5G Smart City and Indosat with 5G based on 3D AR.
2019
5G for Industry and Education Trials
In 2019, Smartfren and Tri (H3I) held 5G trials for industry and education. XL and Telkomsel also held 5G trials for holographic use case and industry.

5G DSS Feature and 3.5 GHz Coexistence Trials
XL held 5G Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) feature trial and Telkomsel held 5G and FSS coexistence trial in 3.5 GHz band.
