What is 5G?
5G is 20x faster than 4G, achieving peak data rate of 20 Gbps
5G is a term to refer to the 5th generation (5th Generation) of cellular technology which is the most recent evolution today. 5G creates increasingly seamless communication between humans, machines, objects, and devices.
5G is the fifth generation of cellular networks. Up to 20 times faster than 4G, 5G is creating never-before-seen opportunities for people and businesses. Faster connectivity speeds, ultra-low latency and greater bandwidth is advancing societies, transforming industries and dramatically enhancing day-to-day experiences. Services that we used to see as futuristic, such as e-health, connected vehicles and traffic systems and advanced mobile cloud gaming have arrived.
With 5G technology, we can help create a smarter, safer and more sustainable future.

Faster Streaming & Download
With 5G network, 800MB movies can be downloaded just in 1 second.

Experienced throughput
Bringing more uniform, multi-Gbps peak rates. Connecting more devices without lossing performance.

More Responsive, Good Bye “Lag”
Delivering latency as low as 1ms. For gaming, latency is the key for winning.
5G Trivia
5G radiation causes more Covid-19 spread
A virus cannot spread through radio waves.
5G does not spread the Corona virus and does not cause COVID-19. This is one of the 5G myths related to the health risks circulating on the internet that are linked between the launch of 5G which is close to the spread of COVID-19. First, the Corona virus spreads through small droplets that infect the respiratory tract. A virus cannot spread through radio waves.
Will the presence of 5G affect 4G speeds?
No, of course.
No. When the user's device is connected to the 5G network, the user will get a fast connection from 5G. However, once the user is no longer within 5G coverage, the connection will be transferred to a network that is within coverage in the area, for example 4G. Depends on network availability in the area. Under these conditions, of course, the customer experience in terms of data access speed will not be as good as the 5G network.
Can 5G improve the quality of mobile games?
5G has 10 times lower latency than 4G
Of course. One of the advantages of 5G compared to the previous generation is the very very low latency (data service access time) which will provide response and feedback from the gaming experience to a higher level. In comparison, 5G is able to offer latency 10 times lower than 4G or in other words up to 1ms.
Are 5G networks make smartphone batteries wasteful?
For now, there is no use case that says that 5G networks can make smartphone batteries wasteful. However, when the user is in an area with minimal signal or network, the smartphone transmitter will work extra hard to capture the signal, so it will consume the battery. So that the smartphone battery is not wasteful, users are advised not to do network settings on 5G Only or LTE Only.
